It’s been 10 years since AC Schnitzer and the Association of German Vehicle Tuners have teamed up to create the Tune it! Safe! event which takes place every year at the Essen Motor Show. This year, AC Schnitzer has developed a special X4 in order to celebrate the event.

The German tuning company focused into the 20i version of the X4 and has developed a special package for the 2.0 liter turbo unit. As a result, the car can now deliver 245 horsepower instead f 184 and can run from stand still to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. The run from 80 to 180 km/h is done in 17.5 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 212 km/h.

The guys from AC Schnitzer have installed a unique aerodynamic body kit, 22 inch alloy wheels wrapped in special tires and a custom lowering kit that can approach the car to the ground by 30 mm at front and 25 mm at rear.

In addition we see chromed exhaust pipes, carbon fiber mirror, special flashing lights and the unique police RTK 7 signaling.
