Mercedes-Benz has revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. As you can see, the German car manufacurer has decided to revive the Maybach monyker, but this time only as a model and not as a brand. But for us it’s perfect, beacuse the new model is 200 mm longer than the regular S-Class and has a wheelbase of 3365 mm.
On the outside, the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class can be distinghuesed thanks to its slightly modified front part. In addition, the model has received the Maybach badge and lettering while the C pillar is now relocated.
Inside the cabin, the rear passengers will have more legroom. The standard executive rear seats are a piece of art and can be adjusted in any dimension you want. According to Mercedes, the new Maybach S-Class is the quietest car in the world thanks to the special seals.
The German luxury model will come in three different engine versions. The range-topping one is the S600 which feature a twin-turbo V12 6.0 liter engine developing 530 HP and 830 Nm. The second option will be the S500 which addopts the bi-turbo V8 4.7 liter engine rated at 455 horsepower and 700 Nm peak of torque. Last, but not least is the S400 4MATIC which uses a V6 3.0 liter unit with 333 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque.
